Who we are
INSTROFINE is an international brand of medical instruments and runs the website instrofine.com. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean INSTROFINE. For anything about your personal data, email info@instrofine.com or WhatsApp +92 308 6111128.
What we collect and why
- Orders. Your name, billing and delivery address, email address, phone number, the items you order and any order notes. We use them to process and deliver your order, handle returns and keep the records that tax and accounting rules require.
- Payments. When you pay online, your card or account details go to the payment provider. We don’t see or store full card numbers.
- Bulk quote requests. Your name, email address, organisation, delivery country, phone or WhatsApp number if you give one, the instruments and quantities you need and your message. They are saved in our website’s admin area and emailed to our team so we can prepare and send your quote.
- Contact form and messages. The contact form opens WhatsApp with your message; our website stores nothing from it. When you message us on WhatsApp or by email, we keep the conversation so we can answer you.
- Technical data. Our web server records basic request data, such as your IP address, browser and the pages you open, to keep the site secure and fix faults.
Cookies
Cookies are small files your browser keeps for a website. We use:
- Cookies the shop needs to keep your cart and run checkout, and to serve pages quickly.
- Order attribution cookies (their names start with sbjs_). They note how you reached our site, for example from a search engine or a link, and if you place an order, that note is saved with it. This shows us which ways of finding us work. You can delete these cookies in your browser at any time.
- Analytics cookies (their names start with _ga). Google Analytics uses them to count visits and show us which pages are opened, how visitors reached us and roughly where they are, at country or city level. We don’t send Google your name, email address, phone number or address. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, Google Analytics runs without these cookies, so it can’t recognise you on a later visit. Google Analytics keeps this data for 14 months. To turn Google Analytics off on every website, you can use Google’s opt-out browser add-on.
We don’t use advertising cookies or social media trackers.
Who we share it with
- Couriers (M&P International or TCS RedBox) receive your name, delivery address and phone number to deliver your parcel.
- Our hosting provider stores the website and its data on its servers.
- Email and WhatsApp providers carry the messages we exchange with you. WhatsApp is run by Meta.
- The payment provider handles online payments.
- Google receives the visit data described under Cookies, through Google Analytics.
- Authorities, only when the law requires it.
We don’t sell or rent your personal data, and we don’t share it for other companies’ marketing.
Where your data is handled
We run INSTROFINE from Pakistan, and the providers above may store data in other countries. We only use providers we need to run the shop.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as we need them to deliver your order, handle returns and meet tax and accounting rules. We keep quote requests and messages for as long as we need them to answer you and follow up. You can ask us to delete them sooner.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it or stop using it. Email info@instrofine.com from the address you used with us, and we’ll reply within one month. You can also complain to the data protection authority in your country.
Security
Our site uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and only our team can open the admin area where orders and quote requests are kept. We don’t store payment card details.
Children
Our instruments are sold to adults and professionals. We don’t knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we update it here and change the date at the top.
