The McIndoe Dissecting Forceps in the delicate pattern is built for controlled tissue handling during plastic, reconstructive and microsurgical procedures. The narrow jaw tapers to a fine tip with a stabilizing pin that prevents the tissue from rolling or sliding out of the grasp, even under light spring tension. At 152 mm overall length the forceps sits comfortably outside a shallow wound margin, giving the surgeon a clear sightline while maintaining a positive grip.
Serrated-tip and smooth-tip versions are available. The serrated variant adds traction on slippery fascia and periosteum; the smooth variant minimises surface marking on skin flaps and grafts where cosmetic outcome matters. Both share the same spring tension and tip alignment.
