The Black Line Kerrison Laminectomy Punch combines a titanium-coated surface with a 40° upward jaw angle for controlled bone removal during spinal decompression, laminectomy and foraminotomy. The black coating reduces reflected glare under operating lights and adds a harder surface layer that extends the working life of the cutting edge. An integrated bone ejector clears the footplate after each bite, so the surgeon can reposition immediately without pausing to clear debris.
The 40° upward jaw angle directs the cutting action toward the lamina from below, matching the approach angle in most posterior spinal decompressions. The footplate slides under the lamina and the jaws close with a single squeeze, removing a defined bite of bone with each stroke.
