About Bone and Spinal Curettes

Bone curettes have a sharp-edged cup that scrapes bone and soft tissue; Volkmann curettes are double-ended, and Bruns, Cobb, Lempert and Zielke patterns differ in cup size and angle. Ring curettes such as Cones and Karl have an open loop. Bayonet cervical curettes keep the hand out of the view and come singly, in long versions or as a micro discectomy set, with a container that holds 12 curettes. Lengths run from 9 to 38 cm.
