About Ear Forceps

Most ear forceps are alligator type, with a narrow shaft and a small jaw that opens at the tip, so they can work in the ear canal. Hartmann and Hartmann-Wullstein forceps come with serrated, cupped or punch jaws, polyp forceps remove growths, and micro ear forceps such as McGee and Mini-McGee have the smallest jaws for middle-ear work. Fuller forceps hold ear prostheses, and Greven wire closing forceps close prosthesis wire. Jaw sizes, such as 0.6 × 4 mm, are on each listing.
