The Micro Dieter Malleus Punches provide controlled, bite-by-bite bone removal from the malleus during ossiculoplasty and atticotomy. The punch action differs fundamentally from a chisel or drill: each squeeze removes a defined chip of bone with no transmitted vibration to the remaining ossicular chain, which matters when the incus and stapes are still articulated and conducting.
At 8 cm overall length the instrument operates through a standard ear speculum. The jaw profile is sized to take malleus neck and head bone without extending into the attic walls or the incus body.
