The Micro Crocodile Forceps takes its name from the interlocking tooth pattern on its 3 mm jaw tips. The teeth mesh rather than overlap, creating a grip that holds foreign bodies, cotton packing and tissue fragments under traction without the object rotating or slipping free—the failure mode of smooth-jaw and serrated forceps when the target is small, wet and irregularly shaped.
At 8 cm length the instrument works through a standard ear speculum. The shaft is slim enough to preserve the surgical corridor under microscopic view, and the spring tension returns the jaws to the open position reliably after each release.
