Bellucci Ear Forceps – Serrated Jaws

The Bellucci Ear Forceps combines a scissor-handle drive with serrated jaw faces. The handle mechanism lets the surgeon modulate closure force through the squeeze rather than fighting a fixed spring, while the serrations supply the traction needed to hold wet mucosa, granulation tissue and cholesteatoma matrix — all materials that slip out of smooth jaws under traction.

At 135 mm the instrument works through an ear speculum at standard otologic microsurgical distance. Bellucci forceps are commonly paired with Bellucci scissors on a middle ear tray, sharing the same handle geometry and working length.
