The Black Coated Micro Ear Forceps combines a matte titanium-black surface finish with cup-shaped tips for work on soft tissue in the ear canal and middle ear. The coating serves two purposes: it eliminates the reflected glare that polished stainless steel throws back into the microscope optics, and it adds a harder surface layer that resists fine scratching over repeated sterilisation cycles.
The cup tips measure 0.6 × 3.5 mm—sized to lift tympanomeatal flaps, handle graft material and remove soft debris without the crushing force that flat-jaw forceps apply. The cup profile contains the tissue during withdrawal, reducing drop-back into the operative field.
