The Extra Fine Micro Ear Forceps carries the smallest oval cup tips in the NJ Medical ear forceps range: 0.5 × 1 mm. This size exists for one reason—to work directly on and around the ossicular chain, stapes footplate and oval window niche where a standard-size cup would obstruct the view or contact adjacent structures.
The cups are proportioned to pick up tiny bone fragments, prosthesis components and graft material with enough containment to prevent drop-back during extraction. At 8 cm overall length the instrument maintains the reach-to-control ratio needed for work through an ear speculum under microscopic magnification.
